OVERVIEW

For Adafruit, I developed a series of engaging banner ad campaigns tailored to seasonal events including the Holiday Gift List, Valentine’s Day, and Halloween. Each campaign was designed to capture the spirit of the season while maintaining Adafruit’s playful brand identity.

• Holiday Gift List: Designed glowing typography, glitch-inspired effects, and cyber-styled graphics to create an energetic, futuristic holiday atmosphere. Bold type treatments highlighted key sale details, while the character-driven visuals connected with makers and tech enthusiasts, positioning the campaign as the ultimate holiday event for the Adafruit community.

• Valentine’s Day: Developed a banner campaign that “blasts off into savings” for Adafruit’s Valentine’s Day Sale, featuring Adabot launching into space in a retro rocket. Inspired by vintage Valentine’s cards, the designs used soft colors, playful space elements, and retro typography to create a nostalgic yet whimsical feel.

• Halloween: Designed a Halloween campaign featuring Adafruit characters reimagined in a Beetlejuice-inspired style. Bold black-and-white stripes, eerie neon greens and purples, and playful ghostly effects created a mischievous retro-horror vibe. Adabot and friends were given a whimsical, spooky twist to highlight the seasonal sale.

Optimized layouts across standard web banner sizes and adapted assets for social media, ensuring cohesive visuals and engagement across platforms. The result was a cohesive set of seasonal creatives that drove engagement, and supported sales initiatives.
